Department of General & Laparoscopic Surgery is the backbone of Nims Super-specialty Hospital. The Department of General & Laparoscopic Surgery is one of our biggest departments having one of the most advanced Surgical and Laparoscopic Facilities. The Department is well equipped with state of the art facilities including best in class laparoscopes, stack systems, stapling guns, bariatric surgery instruments, etc. The department has one of the highest numbers of admissions per day either from Emergency or from the OPD. The Department enjoys most modern teaching and research facilities and is always deeply involved in high level clinical and fundamental research. Dr Ravi Mathur is a gifted surgeon as well as Medical Superintendent for the Hospital. He plays a vital role in the day to day administration. He has done his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the world-famous premier medical institute, SMS Medical College and has worked there as a Professor of Surgery there till his retirement. Dr Mathur is a dextrous surgeon and due to his excellent interpersonal skills, kind-heartedness, and thorough professionalism, he is highly popular among patients. Dr Ravi Mathur is backbone of the Department of Surgery as well as the Nims Superspecialty Hospital.
Dr Vineet Choudhary

Professor General Surgery
Dr Vineet Choudhary has joined NIMS Superspeacility Hospital as an Assistant Professor in Surgery Department and has been promoted to the post of professor. He has passed MBBS from SMS Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur and MS(General Surgery) from JLN Medical College, Ajmer. He is General Surgeon and he has a special interest in Laparoscopic Surgery. He holds a prestigious fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery and a fellowship in Gastrointestinal-Endo surgery. Dr Vineet Choudhary has published over 40 articles in various reputed journals. He is a life member of various Surgical society like SELSI, AMASI, IAGES, ASI, RAMAS, SSJ. He has great teaching experience and surgical skills.
Dr Irfan Hussain Khan

Assistant Professor General Surgery
Dr Irfan Hussain Khan's clinical interest includes Intestinal, Gall Bladder and Hernia Surgery. He has done his MBBS from KIMS University and MS(General Surgery) from SMS Medical College & Hospital. He is also a very well trained Laparoscopic Surgeon and holds a prestigious fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery and a fellowship in Gastro Intestinal-Endo Surgery. Apart from surgery, he is also a keen philatelist and a member of the India Study Circle.
